Falconwood Vaulters is a non-profit organization located in Covington, Georgia. We are the only vaulting team in Georgia but one of many in the United States and World. The team is a member of the American Vaulting Association. We hold practices twice a week, attend several out of state competitions each year and host our own competition called Falconwood Spring Fest. Our horses come first no matter what we are doing. Vaulting is the safest horse sport and is required in most countries before you can take riding lessons. Our team goal is not winning but getting out there and having fun.

Falconwood Spring Fest

Please join the Falconwood Vaulters in Covington, Georgia as we are hosting an AVA recognized spring competition May 23rd-24th. The judge will be Jennifer Williams she is a rated (r) judge from Virginia. The competition will be held in Covington, Georgia right off I-20. It is a very nice facility with stalls and a covered ring.
We have limited horse time available for trot vaulters, and unlimited horse time available for walk vaulters. Let us know ASAP after the entries are open out so we will save your spot if you would like to borrow horses. We will be using CompWeb and passwords will be emailed to club coaches. You may view the prize list at
http://vaulting.swcp.com, then click Falconwood Vaulters Spring Fest 2009. You do not need a password to access the prize list.

If flying, you can fly directly into Hartsfield Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, where tickets are usually cheap and it is around 45min to an hour drive to the facility depending on traffic and the day of the week.

If you plan on bringing horses, they must have the following up to date; Coggins, Strangles Shot, Rabies Shot, and a Current vet check. (This must be mailed in with entries)

Please contact Lisa Zielenske by e-mail
lmzielenske@yahoo.com with any questions or for horse time.
